Scientific Programme of AERC 2014
The scientific programme of AERC 2014 consists of ten symposia, one of them especially for industrial applications. Every symposia is organized by a member of the local scientific committee in collaboration with a renowned expert in the respective field. In advance of the conference (April 8, 2014), three special short courses will be offered.
- Advances in rheometry
- Biopolymers and food rheology
- Colloids and suspensions
- Flow-induced phase transitions and flow instabilities
- Industrial rheology and processing
- Interfacial phenomena, surfactants and foams
- Modeling and numerical simulation
- Polyelectrolytes, associating fluids and liquid crystals
- Polymer melts, blends, copolymers and nanocomposites
- Viscoplasticity and granular media
- Fourier Transform Rheology (M. Wilhelm)
- Rheology of micro- and nanostructured polymers (U. Handge)
- Microrheology (N. Willenbacher)
